About Dave Fio
Detroit's Rising Country Blues Star
Dave Fio is a Detroit native best known for his time on American Idol, where he received a golden ticket from Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan. He mixes a Country Blues style, some Rock N Roll heart, and a touch of Gospel.
Dave began his music journey in 2021, where he was quickly recognized locally for his ability to belt like Stevie and growl like Stapleton. After his debut on American Idol, his recognition grew to a national fanbase — quickly earning him amazing opportunities to perform at places like MLB Playoffs, SXSW, Nashville's Country Radio Seminar, and most recently, the famous Nashville Whiskey Jam.
Dave writes lyrics that invoke pure emotion, with a calm, cool, and collected demeanor. Dave Fio is quickly being recognized as a promising rising star in the Country, Blues & Music community.
